Welcome to Worldwide AIS Network ApS. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Worldwide AIS Network ApS regarding your access to and use of the MASTCHAIN platform (“MASTCHAIN” or “the system”), which includes all associated websites, applications, APIs, software, services, and the AIS (Automatic Identification System) data contributor program operated by or on behalf of Worldwide AIS Network ApS.

By accessing or using any part of MASTCHAIN, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the system. Your continued use of MASTCHAIN signifies your acceptance of any updates or modifications to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The use of MASTCHAIN is permitted only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age and who have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the laws of their country of residence. By using the system, you affirm that you meet these requirements.

The services of Worldwide AIS Network ApS may not be available or lawful in all jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to ensure that your access and use of MASTCHAIN complies with all relevant local, national, and international laws, including restrictions on the use of blockchain technology, radio communications, and digital tokens in your jurisdiction.

2. Accounts and Wallets

To participate in MASTCHAIN and to receive MAST tokens, you must connect a supported, self-custodied cryptocurrency wallet. Your wallet functions as your digital identity within the system and is required for both contributing AIS data and receiving rewards.

You are solely responsible for the security and management of your wallet, including private keys, seed phrases, and authentication credentials. Worldwide AIS Network ApS has no access to your wallet and cannot recover lost funds or credentials. Any loss of access to your wallet may result in permanent loss of earned tokens or participation status.

3. Node Participation

By installing and operating an AIS receiver node connected to MASTCHAIN, you agree to contribute real-time AIS data collected from maritime vessels. You are required to use hardware that meets or exceeds the technical specifications set out in our documentation, and to locate your station in a manner that maximizes data quality and geographic coverage.

All contributed data must be authentic and untampered. You may not fabricate, spoof, replay, or otherwise falsify AIS data. Attempting to manipulate network activity or rewards is strictly prohibited.

Worldwide AIS Network ApS may suspend or permanently revoke your participation, cancel pending rewards, or restrict your wallet from interacting with MASTCHAIN if you violate these Terms, submit fraudulent data, or interfere with network operations.

Once AIS data has been received and validated by the system, it becomes the property of Worldwide AIS Network ApS. By contributing data, you grant Worldwide AIS Network ApS an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to store, analyze, redistribute, commercialize, and otherwise use this data in any format for any lawful purpose.

4. Token Rewards

Contributors may earn MAST tokens in exchange for submitting validated AIS data. Rewards are determined by predefined participation criteria such as node uptime, signal uniqueness, data freshness, and validation by consensus mechanisms. Tokens are distributed automatically according to MASTCHAIN’s reward model, subject to a defined locking period during which contributions are verified.

Worldwide AIS Network ApS reserves the right to adjust the reward schedule, emissions model, or consensus rules over time to reflect technical, economic, or regulatory developments. There is no guarantee of a fixed number of tokens per node or that token rewards will remain available indefinitely.

Violation of participation rules may result in reduced, suspended, or revoked rewards. It is the contributor’s responsibility to understand how participation affects token eligibility.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MASTCHAIN in a lawful, ethical, and non-disruptive manner. You must not interfere with or disrupt the system, its contributors, or its services. This includes attempting unauthorized access, launching denial-of-service attacks, distributing malware, overloading the system with automated tools, or reverse-engineering smart contracts or proprietary code.

Use of MASTCHAIN must comply with all applicable laws, including communications regulations, sanctions and export restrictions, and any tax obligations relevant to your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with MASTCHAIN — including software, code, algorithms, documentation, visual assets, branding elements, and trademarks such as MASTCHAIN and MAST — are the property of Worldwide AIS Network ApS or its licensors. No rights are granted to you beyond those expressly provided in these Terms. Unauthorized copying, modification, or use of these materials is prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

MASTCHAIN and its associated services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind. Worldwide AIS Network ApS does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, or the future value of the MAST token.

You acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to technical failures, network outages, hardware damage, and token market volatility. Worldwide AIS Network ApS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm.

8. Modifications to the Terms

Worldwide AIS Network ApS reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website, and changes take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of MASTCHAIN after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Token and Earnings Disclaimer

MAST tokens are utility tokens designed to reward AIS contributors and incentivize decentralized participation. They are not securities, equity, or investment instruments, and should not be treated as such. Worldwide AIS Network ApS makes no guarantee regarding the value, exchangeability, or liquidity of MAST tokens.

Contributors are solely responsible for understanding the tax and regulatory obligations that apply to their receipt or use of MAST tokens. Worldwide AIS Network ApS assumes no responsibility for personal financial, accounting, or legal compliance.

10. Contributor Code of Conduct

All contributors operating AIS nodes on MASTCHAIN must act in good faith and with integrity. Nodes should be installed and maintained with reliable hardware, stable internet access, and adequate power. Only authentic AIS signals may be transmitted. Deliberately duplicating, spoofing, or rebroadcasting signals is prohibited, as is interfering with other nodes or attempting to manipulate network operations.

Violations may result in suspension or permanent banning of your node or wallet, forfeiture of pending rewards, and reporting to relevant authorities where applicable. Worldwide AIS Network ApS reserves the right to monitor and enforce compliance with these rules in order to protect the accuracy and reliability of the system.
