Welcome to the Worldwide AIS Network ("WAKE"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WAKE platform, including our websites, software, and node participation system. By using WAKE, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility To use the WAKE platform, you must be at least 18 years old and comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws. Use of the platform may be restricted in certain regions.

2. Account & Wallet Use Participants must connect a valid wallet to receive WAKE tokens. You are solely responsible for managing your private keys and securing access to your wallet. WAKE is not responsible for lost access or funds.

3. Node Participation By operating an AIS receiver node:

• You agree to collect and submit real-time AIS data.

• You will not falsify, spoof, or manipulate signal data.

• You must run hardware that meets minimum technical requirements.

• You accept the risks of equipment failure, data loss, and downtime.

WAKE may restrict or suspend participation for any node that violates network rules or submits fraudulent data.

Once submitted AIS data is validated by the WAKE network, it becomes the property of WAKE. This includes the right to store, analyze, commercialize, and redistribute the data in accordance with the goals of the project.

4. Token Rewards You may earn WAKE tokens by:

• Running a verified node

• Submitting valid AIS messages

• Maintaining uptime and geographic uniqueness

Token distributions are automated and governed by smart contract logic. Token emission schedules, reward structures, and validation criteria are subject to change as the network evolves.

5. Use of the Platform You agree not to:

• Interfere with the network or other users

• Attempt to hack, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform

• Violate any applicable law or regulation

6. Intellectual Property All intellectual property on the WAKE platform, including logos, software, and documentation, belongs to WAKE or its licensors. You may not use our brand or content without express permission.

7. Limitation of Liability WAKE provides its services "as is" and makes no guarantees regarding uptime, performance, token value, or earnings. WAKE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of earnings, data, or tokens.

8. Modifications WAKE may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.

9. Token & Earnings Disclaimer WAKE tokens are provided as an incentive for contributing validated AIS data to the Worldwide AIS Network. They are not a form of investment, and there is no guarantee of:

• Token value appreciation

• Earnings or financial return

• Future exchange listings or liquidity

Contributors participate voluntarily and are responsible for ensuring they comply with their local tax and regulatory obligations. WAKE is not responsible for any losses resulting from token market activity, price volatility, or inability to redeem tokens.

10. Node Operator Code of Conduct By operating a node on the WAKE network, you agree to:

• Install and operate equipment honestly and responsibly

• Submit only real, live AIS signals from verified sources

• Avoid duplicating or spoofing data for the purpose of inflating rewards

• Not interfere with, disable, or tamper with other nodes or parts of the network

Violations may result in:

• Temporary or permanent banning of your wallet/node

• Loss or slashing of pending token rewards

• Legal action in the case of fraud, abuse, or network disruption

WAKE reserves the right to audit or review node behavior and take appropriate actions to protect the integrity of the network.
